Description

Foxcatcher is a 2014 released sports based film, directed by Bennett Miller. It features Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, and Mark Ruffalo in lead roles. The script was written E. Max Frye and Dan Futterman. The movie got a nice rating from IMDb but even then it failed over box office collection. Foxcatcher received several positive remarks from the critics, especially for the performances of performances of Carell, Tatum, and Ruffalo.
Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) and Dave (Mark Ruffalo) are brothers and both are Olympic Gold Medal winners. But even then Mark, being a younger brother, always feels getting dominated by Dave.
One day, Mark is contacted by a philanthropist and wrestling enthusiast John E. du Pont (Steve Carell), who offers to arrange a private wrestling training facility for him, if he agrees to move Pennsylvania.
Du also invites Dave to join them at training center, but Dave refuses by saying he and his family are well-settled, hence he doesn’t want to move.
Mark stays in the Guest House arranged for him in Pennsylvania. Mark after getting training from teammates and financial support from Du, wins 1987 Worlds Wrestling Championship.
The story takes several turns before ending with Du’s arrest.
